1891 Physician Giving Society
Improving the health of our community
The 1891 Society was established in 2014 to give special recognition to physicians who wish to improve the health of our community through philanthropy by supporting Erlanger Foundation.
This society of active and retired physicians continues the tradition of healthcare excellence in the Erlanger by providing funds for the latest medical technology, education, community outreach, and capital improvements. This Society honors the significant gift that Baron Frederic Emile d’Erlanger made in 1891 to build Erlanger Hospital.
Membership Qualifications
Membership in the 1891 Society is limited to physicians.
Membership requires a minimum commitment $40 per pay period or $1,000 per year. Payments can be made in whole or by monthly or quarterly credit card installments. If you are an Erlanger-employed physician, you may use payroll deductions.
Members of the 1891 Society also qualify for our Queen & Crescent Society, which is made up of individual donors committed to making an annual gift of $1,000 or more.
Members receive special recognition for their support, an 1891 Society lapel pin and badge sticker, as well as invitations to Erlanger Foundation special events, like the Believe Bash and Farm To Table(aux), and Giving Society events throughout the year, like Giving Society Socials, Tiny Trees Workshop, and Pops & Doc in the Park.
